My Story

Michelle Walters is a wife, mom and professional makeup & spray tan artist who has found a career that fulfills her passion and purpose in life, makes her smile, and helps others feel beautiful.  Michelle has been a makeup artist for 20 years, with the past 12 years professionally. Often she refers to her tag line "A little brush, a little paint, makes a woman something she aint" allows her to draw attention to her artistry and allows her to make women feel confident in their own skin.  Michelle wears many hats and is passionate about so many things.  Let's get to know her a little.....

I am a makeup artist, spray tan artist, hair stylist (not cut and color...just styling is my mojo) and an on-trend Fashionista stylist. To sum it all up, I am ALL girl and love all girl things! But most of all, my message and mission is to help YOU DO YOU and feel the most beautiful version of yourself!

When it comes to Island Glow Sunless Studio, Salon and Beauty Bar, I offer our clients the BEST beauty trends in the 21st century. Our sunless tans are what we are best known for locally and around the country. Our formula we spray with is unique to Island Glow, formulated years ago by me when I was not happy with anything on the market. It will promise our clients a true mocha chocolate tan ever time! We infuse our tans, as well as our Self Tanning products with extra skin moisturizers and cellulite anti-aging ingredients - YAY! You won’t find our products selling on Amazon or to local salons .... it’s just for you! In addition to our sunless tans, we developed our very own Body Care Line of body butters and bath/shave bars that are spray tan approved! Again, you won't find our products sold anywhere else......we want the BEST for our clients!

On the Beauty Bar side of our business we offer:  Makeup (both airbrush and traditional), Hair Styles, Bombshell Lash Lifts, Smile Like a Diamond Teeth Whitening, and Henna Brow Tint/Lash Tint. We also created our own Makeup/Skin Care Line that launched in 2017 and we are steadily building our MUST HAVES each quarter. These products are available in our Studio3820 as well as online.

We now have grown to a team of 7 (in our studios) and a team of 4 (wedding team). Each talent is hand selected by Michelle and most are trained 1-on-1 by her as well.
